Park Assist semi-automatically guides the car into perpendicular parking spaces, and in and out of parallel spots. The system assists the driver by automatically carrying out optimal steering wheel movements to park within the lines, the driver just has to accelerate and brake.

When reversing out of parking bays, Rear Traffic Alert recognises vehicles approaching from the sides. An acoustic signal warns of an impending collision. The “critical side” is shown first in yellow and then in red on the infotainment display. The brakes are applied automatically if necessary.

To avoid those parking situations where you don’t brake in time in response to the front or rear distance alerts, the Kamiq incorporates Manoeuvre Assist, a feature that stops the car to avoid collision.

Providing you with comfort and orientation during a parking procedure, the Rear-view camera uses a camera located on the tailgate handle. Working with the infotainment screen, the system shows the space behind the car and indicates the driving line, based on the vehicle width.

The system warns of the potential risk of collision with obstacles during parking by drawing data from sensors, the driving parameters and the steering wheel angle.
